About Spire Monitor

Spire Monitor, Creature — phyrexian drake, designed by Daniel Ljunggren first released in May, 2011 in the set New Phyrexia and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

This card, Spire Monitor, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on instant-speed interactions and maintaining air superiority. Its flash ability allows for surprise blocks or attacks, while its flying ability provides evasion. However, in competitive Magic: The Gathering environments, there are generally better options available for a 4-mana flying creature with flash, such as Vendilion Clique or Restoration Angel, which offer additional utility or disruptive effects. Therefore, while Spire Monitor may have niche applications, it may not see widespread play in more optimized decks.
