Riders of Gavony, Creature — human knight, designed by Volkan Baǵa first released in May, 2012 in the set Avacyn Restored and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
This card, Riders of Gavony, would be a great addition to a Human tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing protection for your Human creatures against a chosen creature type. It could be especially effective against popular tribal decks like Elves or Goblins. However, a potentially better card for this purpose could be Cavern of Souls, which not only provides protection from counterspells but also helps you cast your Human creatures more easily. Riders of Gavony could still see play in certain metagames where tribal strategies are prevalent, but overall, its effectiveness would depend on the specific matchups in the current card pool.
