A deck focused on land destruction or control would benefit from including Polluted Dead, as it provides a way to remove opponent's lands while also being a creature. However, there are more efficient land destruction cards available in Magic: the Gathering, such as Fulminator Mage or Avalanche Riders, which offer additional benefits or lower mana costs. Polluted Dead could see play in a deck looking for a creature-based land destruction option, but may not be the most optimal choice compared to other options available.
