About Plague Wind

Plague Wind, Sorcery, designed by Alan Pollack first released in Jun, 2000 in the set Prophecy and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.

Plague Wind is a powerful board wipe card that would benefit control decks looking to clear the board of all opposing creatures. While it has a high mana cost, its ability to destroy all non-controlled creatures without regeneration is impactful. However, there are more efficient board wipes like Damnation or Wrath of God that cost less mana and have additional benefits. Plague Wind could see play in certain Commander decks or casual formats where its effect can swing the game in your favor, but in competitive environments, there are better options available.
