About Niblis of Frost

Niblis of Frost, Creature — spirit, designed by Igor Kieryluk first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.

A control deck that focuses on casting a high number of instant and sorcery spells would benefit from including Niblis of Frost in its strategy, as it provides both a flying threat and a disruptive ability to tap down opposing creatures. While Niblis of Frost is a solid card for such a deck, there are potentially better options available, such as Vendilion Clique, which offers more versatile disruption and card selection. However, Niblis of Frost can still see play in the right deck that can take advantage of its abilities effectively.

Rules

07/13/16

If multiple effects say that a creature doesn’t untap during its controller’s next untap step, those effects all apply during one untap step. For example, if you cast two instants in one turn and target the same creature twice with Niblis of Frost’s ability, that creature will only spend one untap step without untapping.
