A deck that focuses on utilizing creatures with shadow and requires mana acceleration could benefit from including Maze of Shadows. However, there are better cards available that offer similar effects more efficiently, such as Maze of Ith or Thalakos Lowlands. While Maze of Shadows may have niche applications in certain decks, it may not see widespread play due to the availability of more powerful and versatile options in Magic: the Gathering.
