About Grave Upheaval
Grave Upheaval, Sorcery, designed by Vincent Proce first released in Nov, 2016 in the set Commander 2016 and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Grave Upheaval would fit well in a reanimator or midrange deck that aims to take advantage of powerful creatures in the graveyard, allowing you to bring back a key threat while also benefiting from the haste to attack immediately. While there are other reanimation spells like Animate Dead or Reanimate that can be more efficient in terms of mana cost, Grave Upheaval's ability to give haste is a notable advantage, especially in aggressive strategies. However, its higher mana cost and reliance on having a target creature in the graveyard may make it less optimal compared to cheaper alternatives, but it can still see play in decks that can support it and have a solid graveyard strategy.
