About Glory-Bound Initiate

Glory-Bound Initiate, Creature — human warrior, designed by David Palumbo first released in Apr, 2017 in the set Amonkhet Promos and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.

This Glory-Bound Initiate card would be a great fit for a White Weenie or aggro deck in Magic: The Gathering, as it provides a strong early-game threat with the potential for lifegain. While there may be more powerful options available in certain situations, such as Adanto Vanguard or Dauntless Bodyguard, Glory-Bound Initiate's ability to gain lifelink and pump its power makes it a solid choice for aggressive strategies and could certainly see play in the right deck.

Rules

04/18/17

If you gain control of another player’s creature until end of turn and exert it, it will untap during that player’s untap step.

04/18/17

You can’t exert a creature unless an effect allows you to do so. Similar effects that “tap and freeze” a creature (such as that of Decision Paralysis) don’t exert that creature.
