Falkenrath Aristocrat, Creature — vampire noble, designed by Igor Kieryluk first released in Feb, 2012 in the set Dark Ascension and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
This card would benefit a deck focused on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a Aristocrats or Sacrifice deck. Falkenrath Aristocrat's ability to gain indestructible by sacrificing a creature, and potentially grow larger by sacrificing a Human, makes it a strong choice for a deck that can generate a lot of creature tokens or has creatures with enter-the-battlefield effects. While there may be other cards that offer similar effects, Falkenrath Aristocrat's combination of flying, haste, and the potential for indestructible and growth make it a solid choice for such a strategy and could definitely see play in the right deck.

Falkenrath Aristocrat’s activated ability checks whether the sacrificed creature was a Human as it last existed on the battlefield. It doesn’t matter what its creature types are in the graveyard.

You can sacrifice Falkenrath Aristocrat to pay the cost of its own ability. It won’t receive a counter or gain indestructible, but it will enable abilities that check when or if a creature dies.
