Dominating Licid, Creature — licid, designed by Heather Hudson first released in May, 2020 in the set Exodus.
This card, Dominating Licid, could be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on taking control of opponent's creatures to gain an advantage. However, there are more efficient cards like Control Magic or Treachery that offer similar effects without the need for additional activation costs. Dominating Licid may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its higher mana cost and less efficient ability compared to other options available.

If a spell that can target enchantments but not creatures (such as Clear) is cast targeting the Licid after it has become an enchantment, but the Licid’s controller pays the cost, the Licid will no longer be an enchantment. This will result in the spell failing to resolve for having no legal targets.
10/04/04
It becomes an Enchantment - Aura and stops being all other permanent types.
