A deck that focuses on hand disruption and card advantage, such as a Black control or discard deck, would benefit from using Dark Suspicions. However, there are better cards like Underworld Dreams or Megrim that provide similar effects more efficiently. Dark Suspicions may not see much play in competitive decks due to its high mana cost and the availability of more powerful alternatives.
