Cerebral Vortex, Instant, designed by Jeremy Jarvis first released in Feb, 2006 in the set Guildpact and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck that focuses on drawing a lot of cards quickly would benefit from using Cerebral Vortex, as it can deal significant damage to the opponent while replenishing your hand. However, there are better cards like Sphinx's Revelation or Stroke of Genius that provide more card advantage without the downside of dealing damage to yourself. While Cerebral Vortex can be a fun and potentially powerful card in the right deck, it may not see as much play in competitive settings compared to other options available.
