About Bereavement

Bereavement, Enchantment, designed by Andrew Goldhawk first released in Oct, 1998 in the set Urza's Saga and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

A deck focused on sacrificing green creatures for value, such as a Golgari or Jund sacrifice deck, would benefit from using Bereavement in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are better cards like Grave Pact or Dictate of Erebos that offer a similar effect on a larger scale, making Bereavement less optimal for competitive play but potentially fun in more casual decks focused on discard synergy.
