About Benediction of Moons

Benediction of Moons, Sorcery, designed by Matt Cavotta first released in Feb, 2006 in the set Guildpact and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

This card, Benediction of Moons, would be beneficial in a lifegain-focused deck that aims to prolong the game and outlast opponents. While it provides a small life gain benefit for each player, its Haunt ability can be strategically used to gain additional life when the haunted creature dies. However, there are more efficient lifegain cards available in Magic: the Gathering that could better suit a competitive deck, such as Soul Warden or Ajani's Pridemate. Benediction of Moons may not see play in high-level competitive decks, but could still be a fun and thematic addition to a casual lifegain deck.

Rules

02/01/06

“For each player” means for each player currently in the game, which is normally two. A Two-Headed Giant game has four players. In a Free-for-All multiplayer game, players who have been eliminated or who are outside your range of influence don’t count toward the total.
