Cautery Sliver, Creature — sliver, designed by Dany Orizio first released in Feb, 2007 in the set Planar Chaos and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's a key card in 1 combos.
A Sliver tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering would benefit from including Cautery Sliver due to its ability to provide both offensive and defensive options for all Slivers on the battlefield. However, there are better options available, such as Venom Sliver, which grants deathtouch to all Slivers, providing a more impactful and versatile ability. While Cautery Sliver could see play in a Sliver deck, it may not be the optimal choice compared to other Sliver cards with more impactful effects.

If the creature type of a Sliver changes so it’s no longer a Sliver, it will no longer be affected by its own ability. Its ability will continue to affect other Sliver creatures.

Note that the first ability can affect any kind of creature, but the second ability can affect only Slivers. Both abilities can affect players.
