Esta carta seria uma ótima adição a um deck ramp ou midrange que se concentra em gerar mana rapidamente e lançar feitiços poderosos. Embora Svella, Ice Shaper ofereça flexibilidade e vantagem de cartas, ela pode ser ofuscada por outras cartas como Uro, Titã da Ira da Natureza, que fornecem impacto imediato no tabuleiro e vantagem de cartas. No entanto, no deck certo, a capacidade de Svella de gerar mana e lançar feitiços de graça pode ser um fator decisivo no jogo e definitivamente deve ser jogada no meta certo.

If you cast a spell “without paying its mana cost,” you can’t choose to cast it for any alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs, such as kicker costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, those must be paid to cast the spell.
