Deny Reality pode ser uma adição valiosa a um deck de controle ou tempo em Magic: the Gathering, pois fornece interrupção ao retornar uma permanente para a mão de seu dono e vantagem de carta por meio de Cascade. No entanto, existem opções potencialmente melhores disponíveis, como Cryptic Command ou Mystic Confluence, que oferecem mais versatilidade e impacto imediato no tabuleiro. Negar Realidade pode ser jogado em decks mais casuais ou econômicos, mas decks competitivos podem optar por opções mais poderosas e flexíveis.
