Sobre Cauda-de-chicote Belicoso

Cauda-de-chicote Belicoso, Criatura — vorme, desenhada por Jakub Kasper lançada primeiramente em May, 2020 na edição Battle for Zendikar.

Este card seria benéfico em um deck agressivo vermelho focado em construir rapidamente presença de terrenos para acionar sua habilidade de landfall e dar a ele a primeira greve. Embora Belligerent Whiptail possa ser uma inclusão sólida em tal deck, existem potencialmente opções melhores como Akoum Warrior ou Tunneling Geopede que oferecem mais valor consistente e impacto no tabuleiro. Em última análise, a decisão de incluir Belligerent Whiptail dependeria da estratégia específica e da sinergia do deck para o qual está sendo considerado.

A landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability puts a land onto the battlefield under your control.

If the ability has an additional or replacement effect that depends on the land having a certain basic land type, the ability will check that land’s type as the ability resolves. If, at that time, the land that entered the battlefield is no longer on the battlefield, use its types when it left the battlefield to determine what happens.
