Star Wars Zero Company launched this Thursday, August 27, for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game tells an original story set during the Clone Wars and puts players in command of a combat unit in a turn-based strategy campaign.The story follows Hawks, a former Republic officer who takes charge of the Zero Company. Recruited by Republic Intelligence, the squad is tasked with investigating a threat growing behind the scenes of the conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Separatists.The main danger comes from the Infinite Spiral, a group linked to the Separatists and led by Kundri Fathom. The organization is working to spread the Dark Plague across the galaxy, and the Zero Company must stop its plans from advancing.The gameplay combines tactical battles with team customization and progression systems. Between operations, Hawks and his companions return to the Den, their base of operations, where they prepare the squad for future investigations and battles.The roster also includes familiar characters from the Clone Wars era, including Anakin Skywalker. According to the team behind the game, the goal is to give equal weight to the story, its characters and the turn-based battles. As a result, decisions made both on and off the battlefield influence the composition of the squad.Star Wars Zero Company is available on PC through the EA app, Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game is also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
