Demi Lovato returned to Rock in Rio this Saturday (12) with a setlist packed with hits, affectionate remarks about her Brazilian fans and a special appearance by Pabllo Vittar on the Palco Mundo stage.

The singer opened the show with “Fast,” a track from her most recent era, before moving through different stages of her career. “Heart Attack,” “Confident,” “Give Your Heart a Break,” “Skyscraper,” “Stone Cold,” “Sorry Not Sorry” and “Really Don’t Care” were all part of the set, with the crowd singing along.

Demi’s connection with Brazilian audiences also took center stage between songs. The artist expressed her affection for the country’s fans, saying they are an example of what it means to be a fan and that she would carry that affection with her “para sempre”.

Her performance with Pabllo Vittar came near the end of the show. The two sang “Cool for the Summer” together, walked across the stage and drew one of the night’s most intense reactions from the Cidade do Rock crowd. The appearance brought together two artists for one of the best-known songs in Demi’s repertoire.

The festival performance does not mark the end of the singer’s time in Brazil. Demi Lovato will next head to São Paulo with the “It’s Not That Deep” tour, which will be staged at Suhai Music Hall on September 15 and 16.
