A new Doctor Who TV spot has just been released! For the 60th Anniversary of the series, three special episodes have been produced and will be released later in 2023, and several teasers have been released ever since the episodes were first announced.
The special will include familiar faces such as David Tennant, reportedly playing a "14th" Doctor who will be surprised to see he shares the same face as the 10th Doctor, and Catherine Tate reprising her role as Donna. The episodes were created and produced by showrunner Russel T Davies.

In the latest teaser, captured by Bad Wolf Archives on Twitter, Neil Patrick Harris appears as one of the new villains featured in the episodes. Harris is just one of the many villains that have been shown in the teasers, such as the comic book villain from the 1980s, Beep the Meep. That original storyline from the comic book was supposedly the inspiration for the episodes.
The villain played by Neil Patrick Harris was shrouded in mystery for some time, but we now have actual footage of the character! The actor appears as the owner of a vintage toy shop, dressed in a tuxedo and dancing in the middle of a street, with people running about in confusion.
Fans have speculated the character in question is the Celestial Toymaker, who was first played in 1966 by Michael Gough. This villain fits Neil Patrick Harris' usual roles to a tee, as a fantastical, manipulative figure who plays games to pass the time. It is the first time this character actually appears on the screen since 1966.
Only time will tell if we will have more teasers or if now is finally time for a full trailer.
