Prime Video announced a documentary series about Maiara and Maraísa during Prime Video Presents in Mexico City. The production does not yet have a title, release date or episode count.

The series will offer an up-close look at the sisters' professional and personal journeys. They have become two of the leading female acts in Brazilian sertanejo music. The show is expected to explore their relationship, the milestones of their careers and life behind the scenes under the public spotlight.

Preparations for Maraísa's wedding will also be among the subjects covered in the production.

The platform presented the project as a portrait of the duo's many dimensions, including professional commitments and intimate moments. It aims to go beyond a musical retrospective and spotlight pivotal chapters in Maiara and Maraísa's story.

The artists have built a nationwide career across different eras of sertanejo music and helped cement women's prominence in the genre. The series will show how the sisters turned their passion for music into a profession, sharing stages and personal experiences.

The announcement is part of a broader Prime Video initiative focused on Brazilian and Latin American stories. During the event, the company also unveiled projects including the documentary series Marília Mendonça: Sentimento Louco, the film Marília, a production about the PC Farias case and the feature Tiros no Escuro.

Prime Video has yet to announce a release date for Maiara and Maraísa's documentary series.
