Kristen Stewart and Wagner Moura will star in Spiritual World, the new film from French filmmaker and screenwriter Olivier Assayas. The movie will center on the Twilight star as a young medium tormented by mysterious premonitions.The cast will also include Vicky Krieps and Riley Keough. The production has not yet revealed details about the two actresses’ characters, but their involvement expands the ensemble Assayas has assembled for the project.Filming on Spiritual World is scheduled to begin in February 2027. The crew is expected to work in Germany and France, which will serve as the film’s locations.The title can be freely translated as “Mundo Espiritual.” Although the main cast has already been set and a filming period planned, Spiritual World still has no announced release date. The same is true of another project bringing Stewart and Moura together.The two actors have already worked together on Flesh of the Gods, a vampire thriller directed by Panos Cosmatos. Filming on that movie took place in 2026, ahead of their planned reunion in Spiritual World.With Assayas’ film, Kristen Stewart takes on a character marked by visions of the future, while Wagner Moura once again shares the cast with the Brazilian actress in a production from a different genre.
