Originally planned for 2025, GTA 6 was delayed to May 26, 2026, and then pushed back to November of the same year. Rockstar Games says the extra development time is needed to meet the level of quality players expect.A release date for the PC version has not been announced. Console preorders are already available, and buyers of the digital edition can begin preloading it on November 12, a week before launch. The physical edition will also be available that day, but it will contain a download code rather than a disc.The story follows Jason and Lucia, who become caught up in a criminal conspiracy after a simple job goes wrong. It takes place in Leonida, a state that includes a modern-day version of Vice City. According to the game’s official PlayStation page, the two will have to trust each other to survive.On PlayStation 5, Grand Theft Auto VI uses the console’s SSD for near-instant loading. It will also support haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and the DualSense controller’s built-in speaker, as well as Tempest 3D audio.
