The 5th edition of the Blue Dragon Series Awards announced its winners at a ceremony held on July 31. Focused specifically on streaming platforms, the event was hosted by Lim Yoona and Jun Hyun Moo.The night's top prize, the Daesang, went to Kim Go Eun for her role in You and Everything Else. Among the productions, The Legend of Kitchen Soldier was chosen as Best Drama, while Better Late Than Single took home the Best Variety Program trophy.In the acting categories, Shin Hae Sun won Best Actress for The Art of Sarah, and Park Hae Soo took home the Best Actor award for The Scarecrow. The same series that earned Shin Hae Sun recognition also won Park Bo Kyung the Best Supporting Actress award.Yoon Kyung Ho was named Best Supporting Actor for The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, which also saw An Yu Jin recognized with the OST Popularity Award for her contribution to the soundtrack. The rookie awards went to Jeon So Young, from If Wishes Could Kill, and Kim Jae Won, from Yumi’s Cells 3.In entertainment, Kim Sook, from Screwballs 4, and Kim Won Hun, from SNL Korea 8, received the top excellence awards in the female and male categories. Jung Yi Rang, from Dabang Sisters, and Joo Woo Jae, also from Screwballs 4, won the excellence awards.[m]Go Youn Jung was one of the ceremony's biggest highlights.[/m] In addition to receiving the Global Icon With LAVIEN Cosmetics Award for Can This Love Be Translated?, she shared the Popular Star Award with Byeon Woo Seok, Yu Jae Seok, and Lee Soo Ji.
