Paper Tiger, the new film from Ad Astra director James Gray, has unveiled a trailer. The feature stars Adam Driver, Scarlett Johansson and Miles Teller in a story about family, corruption and violence.The story follows two brothers pursuing the so-called “American dream,” only to become entangled in a scheme that seems too good to be true. Their situation changes when they are forced to navigate an increasingly dangerous world shaped by threats and the brutal presence of the Russian “mafia.”As they try to protect their family, the brothers also struggle with the strain placed on their relationship. Betrayal, once considered unthinkable, becomes one of the possibilities in the midst of the conflict. The family becomes a target of the violence and tension surrounding the scheme.In addition to directing Paper Tiger, James Gray wrote the screenplay. Rodrigo Teixeira is among the producers, alongside Anthony Katagas, Raffaella Leone, Gary Farkas, Marco Perego, Carlo Salem and Andrea Bucko.Lee Broda, Jeff Rice, Riccardo Maddalosso and Emille Salveson serve as executive producers. The principal cast includes Adam Driver, Scarlett Johansson and Miles Teller, in a story centered on the consequences of a choice that leads the brothers into a world of corruption, fear and mistrust.Paper Tiger will be released in theaters nationwide on 7 January 2027.
