The next celebrity season of The Traitors will premiere in 2027 on Peacock, which has also revealed the competition’s 23 contestants. Kristin Chenoweth, Chloe Kim, Rashad Jennings and Whitney Leavitt are among the confirmed names.The cast brings together entertainers, athletes and personalities from various reality shows. They include Bianca Del Rio, from RuPaul’s Drag Race; Boman Martinez-Reid; Bronwyn Newport, from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City; actress Casey Wilson; singer Cody Simpson; Craig Conover, from Southern Charm; Cynthia Bailey, from The Real Housewives of Atlanta; actor Dominic Monaghan; Emira D’Spain, from Next Gen NYC; Gizelle Bryant, from The Real Housewives of Potomac; and Iain Stirling, from Love Island.The lineup also includes Jag Bains, from Big Brother and The Amazing Race; JaNa Craig and Joey Graziadei, from Love Island USA and The Bachelor, respectively; actor Johnny Sibilly; Michele Fitzgerald and Rachel Robinson, from Survivor and The Challenge; Q Burdette, from Survivor; and Taylor Hale, from Big Brother and The Amazing Race. Chenoweth, Kim, Jennings and Leavitt complete the group.Based on a Dutch format, The Traitors divides contestants into Faithfuls and Traitors. All 23 participants begin as Faithfuls, while Cumming chooses which players will typically take on the role of Traitors. They must operate in secret to avoid being discovered by the others, who try to identify them while choosing one Faithful to “kill” each night.Studio Lambert produces the series, which is known for bringing together reality TV stars and other media personalities. The show was renewed for three more seasons after the next celebrity edition, bringing the expected total to at least nine seasons.NBC has also launched a version featuring anonymous contestants, The Traitors: New Blood. That production is technically considered the fifth season, while the celebrity edition will be the sixth.
