Introduction
In this list, I will not bring old classics like “Friends”, “Lost” or “Supernatural” because these titles, in addition to being from before the previous decade, we know how much they were acclaimed and continue to be watched in large quantities to this day!
10 Most Watched Series of the Last Decade
Game of Thrones / House of The Dragon

Taking place in a world where we still live in the era of Kings, Queens and their knights, the story also features mysticism, magic and fantastic beings such as dragons and the undead. It is a series rich in its folklore, with families' names and coats of arms, stories of their ancestors, customs and legends, as well as clashes between cultures such as people from different regions of the world, with different customs where a people values honor and word, and another is extremely political and corrupt.
It is important to leave my warning here that it is not a series for children or people with weak stomachs, as it contains many strong scenes - from sword confrontations with a lot of blood to scenes of intimacy and nudity, as well as deaths that are often “gratuitous” or extremely counter-intuitive of characters you simply wouldn't expect to meet such a fate.
Despite its controversial ending, the series for the most part is of excellent quality and was so successful that there are new stories in this magical world with the series House of the Dragon, which takes place before the times of Game of Thrones and tells the story of one of the most powerful families in the past of this magical world.
Game of Thrones won 1 Golden Globe and 59 Emmys.
Breaking Bad
Created and produced by Vince Gilligan, this series is about a chemist who works as a teacher and is extremely frustrated with his life. With a sick son at home, his wife pregnant again and many bills to pay, his life as a teacher cannot bear the costs. The series begins by showing us this reality and soon after, Walter White, our protagonist, is diagnosed with lung cancer, which makes him collapse and reevaluate his choices of being a person who lives within the law.
From this tragic discovery, W.W. (Walter White), together with a former student, uses his knowledge as a chemist to produce high-quality methamphetamine and be able to have money to cover the costs of his treatment and still be able to support his family, which already was in a complicated situation.
The series starts slowly until it explains this entire dramatic situation that W.W. finds herself in, however, with little time it gains your attention, and you can't help but want to watch this story that goes to unpredictable places and shows a character evolution that few series have already shown.
This series won 2 Golden Globes among other awards.
Daredevil
Coming straight from the Marvel Comics, this series created by Drew Goddard for Netflix tells the story of Matt Murdock, a lawyer who became blind as a child, and developed his other senses to the extreme, managing to “see” the world in his own way, and using these senses to fight crime in Hell's Kitchen.

Peaky Blinders
A British television series created by Steven Knight that takes place in Birmingham, England, in 1919, telling the story of Thomas Michael Shelby, leader of the criminal organization known as Peaky Blinders.
Set in a post-World War I era, the series brings a heavy atmosphere, from a time when having power was something for those who had the courage to do what needed to be done and deal with the consequences without lowering their heads. Showing the rise of the criminal organization from the perspective of Thomas Shelby, the series is full of life-challenging plots and a kind of politics between criminals to see who has the most power.
