About Callaphe, Beloved of the Sea

Callaphe, Beloved of the Sea, Legendary enchantment creature — demigod, designed by Jason A. Engle first released in Jan, 2020 in the set Theros Beyond Death and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

This card would benefit decks that focus on controlling the board with blue creatures and enchantments, as it rewards players for having a high devotion to blue. Decks that aim to protect their key permanents and disrupt their opponents' game plan would find Callaphe, Beloved of the Sea particularly useful. While there may be other cards that offer similar effects, Callaphe's unique combination of being a creature and an enchantment with a cost reduction ability makes it a strong contender for inclusion in such decks, especially in a meta where opponents rely heavily on targeted spells.
