About Woodwraith Corrupter

Woodwraith Corrupter, Creature — elemental horror, designed by Greg Staples first released in Oct, 2005 in the set Ravnica: City of Guilds.

This card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on land creatures or has a strategy revolving around turning lands into creatures. It could work well in a deck with ramp and landfall mechanics, as it provides a way to turn lands into threats. However, there are better cards like Living Lands which turns all forests into 1/1 creatures, providing a wider board presence. Woodwraith Corrupter could see play in a niche deck that specifically benefits from its abilities, but overall, it may not be a top choice for competitive play compared to other options available.

Rules

10/01/05

The effect has no stated duration, so a land turned into a creature this way continues being a creature as long as the land is on the battlefield.
