About Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded

Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded, Legendary planeswalker — tibalt, designed by Peter Mohrbacher first released in May, 2012 in the set Avacyn Restored and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded could be beneficial in a deck that focuses on discarding cards for value, such as a Rakdos or Jund deck in Magic: The Gathering. However, there are generally better cards available for similar effects, like Liliana of the Veil or Liliana, the Last Hope, which offer more versatile and impactful abilities. Tibalt's abilities are somewhat situational and may not be as consistently powerful as other options, so it may not see much play in competitive decks.

Rules

05/01/12

The number of cards in the target player’s hand is determined when Tibalt’s second ability resolves.
