About Tethered Griffin

Tethered Griffin, Creature — griffin, designed by Matthew D. Wilson first released in May, 2020 in the set Urza's Destiny.

This Tethered Griffin card could be beneficial in a White Weenie deck that focuses on aggressive early-game strategies, as it provides a flying threat for just one white mana. However, the drawback of sacrificing it when you control no enchantments could be a significant downside, making it less desirable compared to other efficient flying creatures like Suntail Hawk or Healer's Hawk, which do not have such restrictions. Overall, Tethered Griffin may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its drawback.
