Sulfur Elemental, Creature — elemental, designed by Dave Kendall first released in May, 2020 in the set Planar Chaos and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck that focuses on aggressive red strategies and aims to disrupt opponents' plans would benefit from including Sulfur Elemental, as it can be a surprise threat with flash and split second, while also weakening white creature-based strategies. However, there may be better options depending on the specific metagame, such as cards with more versatile effects or higher impact. Sulfur Elemental could see play in certain sideboard or niche strategies, but its overall viability may depend on the current state of the format.

Because damage remains marked on a creature until the damage is removed as the turn ends, nonlethal damage dealt to white creatures may become lethal if Sulfur Elemental enters the battlefield during that turn.
