Stratosoarer would fit best in a slower blue midrange or control deck that values flexibility, evasion, and mana consistency, especially in Limited where flying bodies and basic landcycling help smooth draws and break board stalls. In Constructed formats, however, a 5-mana creature (4U) that only grants temporary flying and has modest impact is generally underpowered; decks looking for evasion or tempo would prefer more efficient options like **Mulldrifter** (card advantage and flying), **Cloudkin Seer** (cheaper card draw on a flying body), or **Aethersnipe** (stronger tempo swing), while control decks would rather play stronger finishers such as **Hullbreaker Horror**. Even for mana fixing, spells like **Preordain** or dedicated ramp/fixing tools are typically more efficient.
