About Sporogenesis

Sporogenesis, Enchantment, designed by Ron Spencer first released in Oct, 1998 in the set Urza's Saga.

A deck focused on creating and sacrificing creatures would benefit from using Sporogenesis, as it allows for the generation of multiple Saproling tokens when creatures with fungus counters die. While Sporogenesis can be a fun and flavorful card to play with, there are more efficient options like Doubling Season that provide similar token generation benefits without the upkeep cost, making them better choices for competitive play.

Rules

10/04/04

If a non-creature with fungus counters on it leaves the battlefield, there is no effect.

10/04/04

If one Sporogenesis leaves the battlefield, all fungus counters are removed even if other Sporogenesis cards are on the battlefield.
