Spirit en-Dal, Creature — spirit, designed by Daren Bader first released in May, 2007 in the set Future Sight and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Spirit en-Dal would be beneficial in a white weenie or aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing a versatile option for granting shadow to a creature to get past blockers. However, there are better options for this effect, such as Dauthi Slayer, which already has shadow and doesn't require an activation cost, making it more efficient in aggressive strategies. Spirit en-Dal could see play in specific situations where the Forecast ability is particularly useful, but overall, there are more efficient options available for decks looking to utilize shadow mechanics.

Multiple instances of shadow on the same creature are redundant.

Once a creature has been blocked, that creature remains blocked and will deal and be dealt combat damage even if it gains or loses shadow or if the blocking creature gains or loses shadow.
