This card, Shadowfeed, would be beneficial in a Black-based control or midrange deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's graveyard strategies while gaining life to stabilize against aggressive decks. However, there are better options available such as \[\[Soul-Guide Lantern\]\] or \[\[Tormod's Crypt\]\] for graveyard hate, or \[\[Vampire Nighthawk\]\] for a more versatile lifegain option. Shadowfeed could see play in specific metas where graveyard interaction and lifegain are crucial, but overall, there are more efficient cards to consider for a competitive deck.
