About Scouring Sands

Scouring Sands, Sorcery, designed by Jonas De Ro first released in Feb, 2014 in the set Born of the Gods.

A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and wants to clear the opponent's board while also gaining some card selection would benefit from using Scouring Sands. However, for a more efficient option, Anger of the Gods could be considered a better choice as it deals 3 damage to each creature, ensuring a more impactful board wipe. Whether Scouring Sands should see play would depend on the specific meta and deck strategy, but it could be a situational sideboard option for decks that need a low-cost board wipe with a scry bonus.

Rules

09/15/13

When you scry, you may put all the cards you look at back on top of your library, you may put all of those cards on the bottom of your library, or you may put some of those cards on top and the rest of them on the bottom.

09/15/13

You perform the actions stated on a card in sequence. For some spells and abilities, that means you’ll scry last. For others, that means you’ll scry and then perform other actions.
