About Sanguine Guard

Sanguine Guard, Creature — phyrexian zombie knight, designed by Kev Walker first released in Oct, 1998 in the set Urza's Saga and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

This card, Sanguine Guard, would be a great addition to a black-based aggressive deck looking to control the board with its first strike ability and regeneration. However, there are more efficient options such as Vampire Nighthawk or Gifted Aetherborn that offer more value for their cost and abilities. While Sanguine Guard has its strengths, it may not see as much play in competitive decks due to stronger alternatives available.
