Sanctimony, Enchantment, designed by Mark Brill first released in May, 2020 in the set Urza's Destiny and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
A deck that focuses on gaining life and disrupting opponents' mana bases, such as a white control or lifegain deck, would benefit from including Sanctimony. However, there are better options available, such as Leyline of Sanctity, which offers broader protection and impact against various strategies. While Sanctimony could see play in certain niche metagames, it may not be a top choice for competitive decks due to its limited scope of effect.

Gaining life is optional. If you forget, you can’t go back later even if it is something you usually do.
