About Ritual of the Machine

Ritual of the Machine, Sorcery, designed by Anson Maddocks first released in Jun, 1996 in the set Alliances and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

A deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a Black sacrifice deck or a Rakdos sacrifice deck, would benefit from including Ritual of the Machine. However, there are more efficient cards like Control Magic or Treachery that offer similar effects without the additional cost of sacrificing a creature, making them better options in most cases. Ritual of the Machine could see situational play in certain sacrifice-heavy decks, but its limitations may make it less desirable compared to other options.

Rules

04/15/13
