Nikya of the Old Ways would be well-suited for a creature-heavy deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and overwhelming opponents with powerful creatures. While the restriction of not being able to cast noncreature spells may limit some strategies, the ability to generate additional mana whenever tapping a land for mana can be incredibly beneficial for accelerating the board state. However, some players may prefer cards like Ruric Thar, the Unbowed, which also restricts noncreature spells but has a more aggressive effect against opponents casting spells. Ultimately, Nikya could see play in certain creature-centric decks looking to ramp up quickly and dominate the battlefield.

Nikya doesn’t care about any restrictions or riders your lands put on the mana they produce, such as those of Unclaimed Territory and Guildmages’ Forum. It just produces one mana of the appropriate type, with no restrictions or riders.
