About Necrogenesis
Necrogenesis, Enchantment, designed by Trevor Claxton first released in Oct, 2008 in the set Shards of Alara and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A Golgari graveyard-based deck would benefit from including Necrogenesis, as it provides a way to generate value by creating Saproling tokens while also disrupting the opponent's graveyard strategies. However, a potentially better card for this strategy could be Scavenging Ooze, which not only exiles cards from graveyards but also grows in power and gains life when doing so. Necrogenesis could still see play in certain metagames where the token generation is more valuable than the life gain and creature growth provided by Scavenging Ooze.
