About Mistmeadow Skulk

Mistmeadow Skulk, Creature — kithkin rogue, designed by Omar Rayyan first released in May, 2007 in the set Future Sight and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

This Mistmeadow Skulk card would be beneficial in a white-based aggro deck that focuses on gaining life and protecting against midrange threats with mana value 3 or greater. While it offers a nice combination of lifelink and protection, there are potentially better options like Adanto Vanguard or Selfless Savior that provide more utility and resilience in the current metagame, making Mistmeadow Skulk less likely to see play in competitive decks.

It also can’t be equipped by Equipment with converted mana cost 3 or greater. - Mistmeadow Skulk can’t be targeted by spells with converted mana cost 3 or greater. While a spell with X in its cost is on the stack, its converted mana cost takes the chosen value of X into account. Mistmeadow Skulk can be chosen as a target for a Blaze (which has mana cost ) if X is 0 or 1, for example, but it can’t be chosen as a target for a Blaze if X is 2 or more.
