A deck that heavily focuses on artifact spells and has a strategy built around either creating a swarm of tokens or filling the graveyard with artifacts would benefit from using Mirrodin Besieged. However, there are potentially better cards for specific strategies, such as Cranial Plating for an aggressive artifact deck or Thopter Foundry/Sword of the Meek combo for a more controlling build. Whether Mirrodin Besieged should see play ultimately depends on the specific deck's game plan and how well it synergizes with other cards in the deck.
