About Magellanica, the Deep Sea City

Magellanica, the Deep Sea City, Field spell card, designed by Konami first released in Jun, 2022 in the set 2021 Tin of Ancient Battles.

A deck focused on WATER attribute monsters, particularly those that rely on Synchro Summoning, would benefit from using Magellanica, the Deep Sea City in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. While this card offers some unique effects, such as manipulating Levels and disrupting the opponent's hand, there are arguably better Field spell cards available for competitive play, such as Abyss-scale of the Mizuchi or Moray of Greed, which provide more consistent and powerful effects for WATER decks. Overall, Magellanica, the Deep Sea City may not see widespread play in top-tier decks, but could still be a fun and interesting addition to more casual or themed WATER decks.
