Hoarder's Greed, Sorcery, designed by Pete Venters first released in Oct, 2007 in the set Lorwyn.
A deck that focuses on card advantage and life loss strategies, such as a black control or midrange deck, would benefit from using Hoarder's Greed in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are better options available like Dark Confidant or Phyrexian Arena for consistent card draw without the life loss drawback. Hoarder's Greed could see situational play in decks looking for a high-risk, high-reward card advantage option, but its effectiveness may be limited compared to other choices.
