Guardian Shield-Bearer, Creature — human soldier, designed by Lindsey Look first released in Mar, 2015 in the set Dragons of Tarkir and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This Guardian Shield-Bearer card would be beneficial in a green-based aggro deck that focuses on deploying creatures quickly and efficiently. Its ability to provide a +1/+1 counter to another target creature upon being turned face up can be strategically advantageous in combat situations. However, in a competitive Magic: The Gathering environment, there are more powerful cards with similar effects, such as Avatar of the Resolute or Strangleroot Geist, which may be preferred choices over Guardian Shield-Bearer. Overall, while Guardian Shield-Bearer has its uses, it may not be a top-tier card that sees widespread play in competitive decks.

Megamorph is a variant of the morph ability. You can find more information on morph on cards with morph from the Khans of Tarkir set.

Turning a face-down creature with megamorph face up and putting a +1/+1 counter on it is a special action. It doesn’t use the stack and can’t be responded to.
