This card would be beneficial in a Gruul aggro deck that aims to apply pressure on the opponent quickly. The ability to give Gruul Nodorog menace can make it difficult for the opponent to block effectively, allowing for more damage to get through. However, in a competitive setting, there are likely better options available for a 6-mana investment in a creature, such as Questing Beast, which offers a more versatile set of abilities and immediate impact on the board.
