Golden-Scale Aeronaut would be a great addition to a white-based aggro deck that focuses on flying creatures, as it provides a solid body with flying and the potential to buff another creature upon entering the battlefield. However, in a competitive Magic: the Gathering environment, there are likely better options for a 4-drop creature with similar abilities, such as Skymarcher Aspirant or Adanto Vanguard, which offer more immediate impact or resilience. Golden-Scale Aeronaut could see play in more casual or thematic decks, but may struggle to find a place in highly optimized competitive decks.
